The PLP function is a data protection technology embedded in SSDs as a countermeasure against power interruptions. In the event of a power interruption, it instantly writes back the data from the DRAM cache to flash to protect the data. The newly designed built-in controller detects a drop in power to a certain level, notifies the host, and stops data transmission. It then writes the data in the DRAM cache to flash within the time before the power supply is completely cut off. It is equipped with capacitors to ensure sufficient time to write the data in the DRAM cache, allowing our SSDs to write data to flash in 45ms. *For more details, please contact us.
